We are Spirit Holiday Rentals Ltd., a small UK-based business specialising in independent apartment rental and ski hire services for Borovets and Bansko. Over the past 3 years, we have found an increasing number of people interested solely in arranging ski or snowboard hire packages - so we created this website to serve that specific market.
The 2010/11 season will be our fifth season in Bansko.
The only difference is in the level of tuition provided. The Beginners Ski Package is suitable for first-time skiers, whereas the Full Ski Package includes tuition for those with some experience. There is no difference in the standard of equipment or any other aspect of these 2 packages.
We have teamed up with Ulen, one of the most popular and well respected ski schools in Bansko, to provide all elements of your package. Their equipment stock is updated every year, so most kit is either new or nearly new.
No. All our equipment hire, including equipment in the Beginners Ski Package, Full Ski Package and Full Snowboard Package, is of the same standard. There is currently no option to select or purchase anything other than our standard level.
All equipment and lift passes are collected from one of the ski hire shops in or directly adjacent to the main gondola building. The exact location of our rep. is confirmed when you receive your vouchers.
Speak to your ski instructor or another Ulen representative, who will be able to deal with your issues. Alternatively speak to our representative - we provide contact details on the voucher used to redeem your ski hire. In the event of damaged or ill-fitting equipment, Ulen will be happy to provide replacement items.
You are entirely responsible for the equipment while it is hired out to you. Therefore if it is misplaced or damaged Ulen will request financial compensation from you to recover/replace/repair the affected equipment. We recommend you take out sufficient insurance before travelling.
No, the passes are a simple swipe card, so no photograph is required.
Unfortunately not - the youngest child we can accept is 7 years old. Ulen do provide a nursery service, but unfortunately this can't currently be pre-booked, so you would have to ask Ulen on arrival in Bansko.
You must book no later than 28 days before your first day of skiing - we regret we cannot take orders later than this, and the website just won't let you. You can book as early as you like, although there is usually a period between the end of one season and the release of prices for the next season where we probably won't be able to take your order, but the website will tell you about this at the time.
We use Google Checkout to process your payment. This is a completely independent payment system so Spirit Holiday Rentals Ltd. never have access to your credit/debit card details. If you follow the instructions provided by Google your details will be as safe as any online payment can be.
We don't have access to any of your credit or debit card details as these are processed entirely within the Google Checkout service. Spirit Holiday Rentals Ltd do store your email address and postal address for order processing and invoicing purposes. There is no link between this data and your credit/debit card details.
